This report, provided by Forum for the Future addresses the problem that investment options to combat climate change all have wider sustainability implications, which will ultimately contribute to the commercial viability of these investments.
A ‘five capitals’ framework is used to illustrate the broad impacts of technologies on people and the environment. This framework includes; natural, human, social, manufactured, and financial capital and the paper argues that the greatest public good will be achieved by maximising these five capitals, taken together.
